I would have to suppose that HCTRA is still considering their options to do the deal for TxDOT, but so far, no word about the completion of those studies or the ones supposedly being done in parallel form by the Grand Parkway Association. Art Storey, Mike Strech, David Gornet, all eerily silent on this topic these days. BTW, Art, the story the Chronicle ran on you the other day had a huge blow-up photo of your head. kjb434 Posted August 10, 2005 Share Posted August 10, 2005 I do know the Alignment of the GP from US 59 to I-10 east of lake Houston is asking for request for qualifications for feasibility studies. This will be essentially a study of the alignments for cost effectiveness and to decipher and possible problems that may be encountered. The firm I work for is trying to get some of this work.This alignment will provide a linke from the port of Houston to North of Kingwood removing truck traffic from US 59 and I-610 coming from the port.
