Houston Nightwalk Photos Round 2

Alright folks, it's time for round 2.  Last time, we did this, we had about 8 people come out to downtown, and we had tons of fun.  This time, we'll be meeting up in the Texas Medical Center and Hermann Park.

 

Details: Texas Medical Center

 

When: THIS Saturday, May 24th, meet at 7pm.

 

Parking: TMC GARAGE 1.  6519 Fannin St. Houston, 77030. We will all park on the roof of this garage.

 

How: We do not really do pictures from the sidewalks.  We will instead be hitting the roofs of 3 parking garages. We all park at TMC Garage 1, and we will walk to the rest of the garages.  (All within 6 blocks of TMC Garage 1).

 

After doing a few garages at the medical center, we will all drive to Hermann Park a few minutes down the road.  There, we will do some night shots of the lake and fountain. If you have never shot this fountain at night, it looks amazing!

 

Parking for this location is at 6001 Fannin St. (Across the street from the Museum of Natural Science/ Hermann Loop). Just go north on Fannin until you reach Hermann Loop Dr. and then take a right.

 

You Need to Bring: Camera, tripod, wide angle lenses or fisheyes, especially for TMC Garage 1, lots of water, snacks if you get hungry easily.  This is a fair amount of walking.  Try to pack a light load to ease your night.  Carrying a 50lb backpack around all night with equipment is never fun.
