IronTiger
I know that Montrose was always (at least since the 1960s-1970s) a "countercultural" type place, but there always seemed to be fast foods and other chains, giving the area a slightly more suburban (as opposed to urban) feel. How long have these been around, and what was the acceptance to them? The McDonald's, Burger King seem to be originally from the 1980s, Disco Kroger has been around since the early part of the 1970s, and the Pizza Hut next to the old Wendy's seems to have been originally something else, which also seems to have been a chain. What was that?
