The estimated average weekday boardings projection for 2020, by comparison, is 40,000."This is a good indication of the system's capacity, as well as its popularity," said METRO President & CEO Frank J. Wilson. "Significantly, we received only one complaint about METRORail the day of the game, and that was about the wait, not about crowding." Trains ran every 12 minutes. The game was the only weeknight home game the Texans have scheduled this year, so it is not likely that METRORail will hit the 40,000 mark again this year. Average daily boardings for the month of August were 29,400.
