Other New Restaurants Coming to Cypress

Saw this article today. There are some other items listed today. Found these in particular to be interesting. I notice #8 below is the same address as Mezzanotte, so I wonder if this will actually replace Mezzanotte?

7. The second location of Lucky’s Pub, a downtown Houston sports bar, will open at the beginning of October at 27216 Hwy. 290, Ste. 100. The bar, which also has a private party room, serves fresh-made food for lunch and dinner, including pizzas, burgers and cheesesteak egg rolls. It will offer a selection of more than 100 bottled beers and 24 tap beers. www.luckyspub.com

8. Gerry and Adriana Sarmiento, owners of Mezzanotte Ristorante, are moving forward with a plan for a new restaurant named Piqueo. Gerry plans to open Piqueo, which is a Peruvian term for tapas, by mid-November at 13215 Grant Road, Ste. 1800. The restaurant will serve South American cuisine, including Argentinean grill, Peruvian ceviche and authentic Mexican food.

9. Las Ollas, a new Mexican restaurant located at 12640 Telge Road, Ste. E, will open in September. The menu will include fajitas, enchiladas and other Mexican specialties for lunch and dinner.

10. Raising Cane’s, which sells chicken fingers and chicken-finger sandwiches with Cane’s Sauce, plans to open a new location at 26302 Hwy. 290 in mid-November. The restaurant also serves freshly brewed iced tea and and lemonade. www.raisingcanes.com

Actually as far as Mezzanotte and the new restaurant is concerned, there is an interesting video discussing it here.

Sounds like he sold off Cappriccio and this will be a seperate restaurant in the old Amalias Mexican Grill in the same shopping center.
