Washington Ave. Redo

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what the goal is with the laying of asphalt on Washington? Sure, the road was bumpy, but in the places where they've "finished" this improvement the road is actually worse than before. At intersections the two roads aren't at the same height so you're bouncing all around.

I'm not sure if they are finished yet? I don't think they would leave it with two different heights but I don't have details on the improvement. Maybe someone can get something from the management district?

I've been down Washington a lot more in the last two weeks and they've painted lanes on the westbound side.

The issue of the manhole covers now being hills in the middle of the road is a bit of a pain. I hope that this is just the beginning of them putting down concrete and leveling the road.

Well, I'm heartbroken about the manhole covers. It should leave idiots with the low riding sport cars to watch where they're driving for once.
