J.A.S.O.N.
Would be kind of neat to see ferry boats on the bayous. From H Texas MagazineBayou Express"The solution to Houston
pineda
There is a bayou right at the end of my block. I am looking forward to the mornings when I can cross my neighbor
westguy
I'd like to see bike trails running along every bayou in the city. (Not that you could seriously commute this way.)
kjb434
Some people do use the Bike Trails as commuting options. When they become more extensive they will be more appropriate for the use. Right now they mostly serve recreational purposes.About the floating down bayous: Many of our streams dry up when rains are gone or have low flow conditions which would support event an inflatable raft. Other than Bufalow, Brays and Sim many bayous don't have the steady conditions to support and kind of water transport.
