Woodbine Development Corp. of Dallas and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts of Chicago are jointly spending about $30 million to develop the new Hyatt Place on a 3.7-acre site at the northwest corner of State Highway 6 and U.S. 59. The hotel will be located in the 190-acre Lake Pointe Town Center under development by Sugar Land-based Planned Community Developers Ltd.
