Can I edit posts that I've written?

Recommended Posts

If you've written a post or a reply to someone else's post and have a change of thought, or notice a spelling mistake or something similar, you can change the post you've just written.

Press the "Edit" button and you will be able to make quick changes to the content of the post.

If you need to make extensive changes involving formatting, changing a thread title, or something else, then after you've entered the simple editor, click the "Use Full Editor" button and you will have the full range of editing options.

Note that you can only make changes to a post for two hours after writing it. This is to help preserve the continuity of the thread. If you write something, then someone replies to it, and then you change what they've replied to, it doesn't make sense to other people coming along and reading the thread.
