This is really good news. It only bolters the need for more rail.

Some people will say that Metro forced the numbers to go up because bus lines were altered to require passengers to use the rail for a north south route, but I say so what. The cost for the rider is still the same. The rail has eliminated the need for some buses and has gotten them off the road. The rail is a tool for Metro and meeting its mobility needs and they are going to use it.

When Metro add more lines, I would expect more bus lines to intersect the rail so that users will use the rail. The bus lines can become more of a local service and the rail would become more of a long distance service.
