Sure, this is a picture of the Great Houston Blizzard of 2008, but it's still only January -- plenty of time for a freak storm to hit the Bayou City.You can add your photos to the HAIF Flickr pool, too. You can add your photos to the HAIF Flickr pool, too. All are welcome! Well statistically February is Houston's "snowiest" month. I'm going to have to check my sources, but I believe 8 of the top 10 biggest snowfalls have occured in February. This including the Valentines Day Snowstorm of 1895 where Houston received...drum roll....almost 2' of snow in one dumping. Galveston got 15". There were reports of up to 3' in some areas.
