editor Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Houston Weighs in on New Ways to Recycle Green DebrisMayor Bill White announced today the three winning ideas from the Recycle Ike contest for new ways to recycle green debris and keep it out of our landfills. The City of Houston has collected over 5 million cubic yards of green debris resulting from Hurricane Ike and has directed significant amounts to mulch and composting applications.
