johncoby
Tremont Homes is a CARE member of the BBB which means they must abide by the BBB rules and submit to arbitration if necessary with a homeowner. The process is free.Instead Tremont wanted to go with the American Arbitration Association which costs about $6000.The homeowner chose the BBB and Tremont refused. They are now in the process of being removed from the BBB for non compliance with the policies.I visited a high rise in Houston, The Tremont Towers. It seemed abondoned. Of the 72 units, only 12 had been sold. It really seemed odd.Has anyone had any experience with Tremont?
UrbaNerd
Hmm..I have heard bad things about them in the past..but, Im not really sure. It's a shame, though, if the remont Tower will be empty like that for a while..(I remember seeing ads for it back in 2001 or earlier!)
