Here is a link to an article I read in the most recent Rolling Stone magazine. I've also recently read another article in another publication which I forgot the name of, but it made the same points concerning peak oil production. It makes me wonder with gas prices going through the roof, how long it will take before something like this happens. How will this effect cities like Houston, which is basically just a humongous suburb sprawled out in every which direction. How will it change the attitudes of people in a place where big trucks and suvs are a part of life. I'm from Houston but now I'm living in LA, so it's basically the same problem here. Honestly, I don't feel it's a matter of if it's going to happen but when it's going to happen. Read the article here:
