yuan1274
When I was looking at the high school football scores in Saturday morning's newpaper, I was surprised to see that most of the high schools in Dallas were in Class 4A. Were more schools built, which resulted in lower enrollments for each one?http://www.texashsfootball.com/scores/2007/wk24a.htm

Many of the DISD schools are older and had served more students in the past. As people moved to suburbs and as people were gentrified out, the populations of many DISD high schools (especially in the inner city) declined. TexasVines
Maybe that's the reason why San Antonio surpassed Dallas in 2004 as the second-largest city in Texas.http://www.lubbockonline.com/stories/06240...062404056.shtml no it is because dallas has almost no room to expand its borders and really zero room unless you count the small area left between Segoville and Wilmer because it is bordered on all sides by other cities while San Antonio has one of the largest land masses of any city in the US.......if you are going east down I-10 still today you are WAY WAY WAY out in the sticks before you reach the city limitshttp://www.sanantonio.gov/planning/an10yrs.pdfhttp://digital-vector-maps.com/cities-map-...ditable-PDF.htm
