New Orleans on PBS' American Experience

I'm catching up on some old Tivoed programs and my episode labeled Texas Ranch House is actually an American Experience episode about New Orleans.

It covers several points of the city's history and the civil rights movement that are new to me, and that's always nice. It's not too preachy, though the Katrina clips are a little overly sentimental, and some of the experts chosen for the interviews make some overly-prideful claims that are simply not true. But once you filter out the chest-thumping, it's a good show.

I can't find it on the PBS web site to find out when it might be on again, but keep an eye out for it.
