CandW Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 The other hotel to be developed is a Hilton which is currently under construction west of Discount Tires...the one that is still being built out is the Best Western....they are developing these motels to take advantage of the Merril Center's weekend events....what someone should really look at doing is developing a conference center out near the mall... Isn't the Parkway the main drag that runs from Pin Oak to Katy-Fort Bend?As for the conference center - don't think it will never happen. The Merrell will suit just fine for pretty much anything out in this area, and the ones that won't will go to the new conference and visitors bureau being built at the now defunct town and country mall area.
