houstongirl
Thanks for posting the list for those who are unsure as to what is tax free. However, for only about a measly 8% off, it's just not worth fighting the crowds. Our shopping is all finished. What cracks me up is that PJs & Robes are on the list, and as far as I know, you CANNOT wear those to school.
westguy
Don't stores usually discount these things a lot more than 8% after the Sales Tax Holiday?
BryanS
Who cares. I will gladly pay 8% more, for anything, if I don't have to wait hours and hours and fight crowds to get it.Like these radio station gimmicks - $1/gallon gas! Yippee! Let me wait hours and hours in line to fill up my tank for $10 vs. $40. I'd rather pay full price and be in and out, quickly. My time is worth more than that. westguy
Actually, if its on clearance a week later for 20% less, then it's pretty stupid to buy it on this Tax Free Holiday.
Pumapayam
I just need to restock my Puma socks. Get another dozen to replace some of the thinning out ones.
JackieR82
the crowds aren't worth it... Besides, how often do you pay tax on items you buy online??
Trae
The Galleria for the win. That's where I'm going. Metropark, Hot Topic, AND Urban Outfitters in the same building? Can't forget Disney Store. I have like two shirts from there.
