Can they build if they build elevated?I wouldn't worry too much about Meyerland's future. Our office just took two listings on new construction well over a million $$ in there! travelguy_73 Posted March 9, 2005 Share Posted March 9, 2005 If you want to see what lots are officially flood buyouts (can't build on them), then just type the address into HCAD.org. If it comes back as being owned by the county, it is a "FEMA lot."We have two of them in my neighborhood, but amazingly they are in the best possible locations: One next to our park (integrated into the park) and next to the bayou (again, integrated into the public space).
