The writer is a Project Manager pursuing research for a Doctoral dissertation in the risk management area of project failures.

It is widely accepted that most large projects suffer from problems that often have significant longer term impacts. These difficulties occur for a variety of reasons and all can impact upon financial budgets and the timely completion, availability and operation of your project. They can also affect reputations!

Project delinquency is the name my practice and I attach to a project suffering distress. Larger projects are particularly susceptible to delinquency because;
