BT2007 Posted March 21, 2008 Share Posted March 21, 2008 We have estimates for new granite countertops - now I need to find out how much the plumber is going to charge to install sinks and new faucets.There is the kitchen sink and faucet and 3 bathroom sinks and faucets.Any idea how much this will cost?Thanks! If it is under-mount, then the sink has to go in at the same time as the countertops. I've done this myself, so I can't really tell you cost numbers, other than under-mount will cost more, I am sure. cgallagher Posted March 22, 2008 Share Posted March 22, 2008 The granite guys should install the undermount sinks. It should be included in their original bid and is usually $50 each. The plumber is going to charge anywhere from 85-125 / hr. And it sounds like 2-3 hours of work. Make sure the holes are drilling in the granite before the plumbers get there.
