hbcu Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Off of 290 and Old Katy Road near the new church I saw a sign promoting a new subdivison called Something Ranch...I thought Bridgelands had that area on lock or its some type of section of Bridgeland? Quote
cnote Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 There are signs on 290 for "Cross Creek Ranch" but it says coming to Fulshear, so the development will be between 1093 and I-10 I think...don't know if this is the sign you saw or not... Quote
mrfootball Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 (edited) That sign "Something Something Ranch" is going up next to Community of Faith Church at 290 and Becker (Waller ISD). I believe its going to be developed in the area behind the church. Edited February 1, 2008 by mrfootball Quote

Bridgeland (General Growth) does not own much land north of Cypress Creek - none on 290 frontage. Quote
Trae Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 They should try to get some land on 290 frontage before prices get too high. Quote
aggie0083 Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 They should try to get some land on 290 frontage before prices get too high.Too late. Another developer have already bought the land between the Bridgeland border (Cypress Creek) and 290. Quote
Trae Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 (edited) Who and what do they plan to build?Bridgeland could have been more like the Woodlands with a major freeway frontage. Now it is more like Cinco Ranch with only the Grand Parkway. Still not bad. Edited March 14, 2008 by Trae Quote

Now it is more like Cinco Ranch with only the Grand Parkway. Still not bad.Lots of commercial on the frontage (plans show a mall and a town center), and residential south of that.It will be interesting to see what Bridgeland will do now that this other developer has a jump on them with the mall/town center thing, while they are still waiting for the Grand Parkway to be built.
