LarryDallas Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 She used to be in the investigative reporting team at KHOU in the early 00s. I'm not sure when she left (about 2004 I think) but she was around during the summer of 02 cause I was stuck at work during the flooding caused by Allison and can recall seeing her reporting from downtown.Anyway... she quit journalism started a new career in Miami. http://carey2.blogspot.com/2006/08/eileen-...ocal-cords.htmlhttp://www.eileenfaxas.com/I wish her the best of success cause she did not seem to be a total phoney like most of the personalities in the media. I can recall her teeth being crowded as a result of not having had braces in her childhood. Normally reporters would go and get that fixed along with other cosmetic "fixes" but she stayed the same for the years she was on TV and I like her better for it. Since the album is for sale in Houston I might buy it; my first acutal CD purchase in over 7 years since it's been nothing but MP3s for me. Quote
editor Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Good for her. She was one of the few people I knew in Houston who was exactly the same in real life as she was on TV. Funny that she's an "entertainer" now. I always thought of her as the nerdy girl. She must have gotten in shape, too. She was always kind of dumpy in person, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a couple of well-placed leg lifts. Good for her for getting out of TV and doing something with her life. Quote
LarryDallas Posted December 25, 2007 Author Posted December 25, 2007 She is pretty good. Not exactly Gloria Estefan yet but I see great potential here. She should stick to making songs with deep rich bass in the background and strong mid frequencies on their own beat.....I'm not a musician by profession but I kind of think of it as layered music....those are the best songs. OK...now I gotta get the album...she has me sold on it.http://www.eileenfaxas.com/music-english.htm Quote
