editor
People here on HAIF are smart enough to know about the project that have been in the works for years to upgrade Texas highways to bring expand trucking between Mexico, the interior U.S., and Canada. In fact, our own U.S. 59 is part of one project, which will upgrade it to I-69.It turns out that half-informed people on the internet, and now even the presidential campaign, are calling it some sort of vast conspiracy against the country. Fortunately, the Washington Post's excellent "Fact Checker" column is there to sort things out:http://blog.washingtonpost.com/fact-checke...to_nowhere.htmlI recommend adding the Fact Checker to your weekly reading list. It really does a good job of separating facts from fiction in a non-partisan way in a world filled with partisan half-truths.
