Trae
Click the link below for the whole thing:His name was Josh Evans. He was 16 years old. And he was hot."Mom! Mom! Mom! Look at him!" Tina Meier recalls her daughter saying.Josh had contacted Megan Meier through her MySpace page and wanted to be added as a friend.Yes, he's cute, Tina Meier told her daughter. "Do you know who he is?""No, but look at him! He's hot! Please, please, can I add him?"Mom said yes. And for six weeks Megan and Josh - under Tina's watchful eye - became acquainted in the virtual world of MySpace.Ultimately, it was Megan's choice to do what she did, he says. "But it was like someone handed her a loaded gun."Messed up story. Horrible, can't believe adults would do that kind of thing to a teenager. I know people are going to come in here and laugh about this but you don't ____ with someone's head that isn't clear enough as it is.Link to the rest of the story. VicMan
1. Where is the article from? It is not a good idea to post full newspaper articles.2. The names of the parents were outed in blogs.

cottonmather0
Yeah, I saw this story last week and it's awful. That what would have already been a cruel prank perpetrated by kids was actually conceived and encouraged by adults is unforgivable. At some point you would think the adults would actually act like adults. Terrible terrible story.
KimberlySayWhat
Trea: I know people are going to come in here and laugh about this There's nothing funny about it. I can't say I'm shocked, because nothing shocks me anymore. People are sickening. It's terrible.
VicMan
I haven't seen anyone genuinely laugh about it so far. I hear that the offending parents are being ostracized (as they should be!)
mumbles
No defense for the adults but you have to realize the problem really started with how the other kids at school treated her.
VicMan
I wonder if the adults knew that, since the adults were the parents of a girl who had a falling-out with Meier.
