I have flown over many American cities including L.A., Las Vegas, Atlanta, Cleveland, Honolulu, Phoenix, ect...and as your flying over you see a light here a light there and then all of a sudden...BAM! It looks like daylight with all the lights. I've never seen Houston from the air at night and was wondering if it was bright or not. Being that IAH is so far north of the city, most of the lights are hidden by trees. All you see when flying in are the signs of Shell stations. I also have never flown out of Houston at night.
