RivaRow Posted August 6, 2007 Share Posted August 6, 2007 Having recently moved into The Woodlands Town Center, I have been enjoying seeing the controlled growth and good town planning that is going into it.One question I have however is that despite modelling The Woodlands around the natural surroundings, I see very little going on as far as encouraging residents to be environmentally friendly. One such example is recycling - I took a drive to find a bottle bank at the weekend only to find the recycling center closed and opening hours as Wednesday and Saturday only!! Not exactly encouraging use.I would really like to see recycling centers at HEB and in the corner of large parking lots to encourage people to think about their trash before it lands in our ever increasing landfil sites.
