Retama Posted July 24, 2007 Share Posted July 24, 2007 Troy Dungan retired from WFAA last week after 31 years of doing the weather in Big D. He was known for wearing bow ties during broadcasts. I remember Troy doing the weather in Houston on Channel 13 in the 1970s, I believe, just before Ed Brandon came along. ssullivan Posted July 26, 2007 Share Posted July 26, 2007 I remember him well, but not from Houston. I used to watch the news on WFAA when I was in college in that part of the state. I happened to be working in Dallas last week, and watched his last 6:00 PM newscast while I was at the gym.
