CSOM
This is something cool and could become something big!http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/stories...23/daily10.htmlSaw this Saturday night while sitting out on the patio at the Tipsy Clover in midtown... seemed like a genius idea. editor
Other people have opened rickshaw services in downtown Houston in the past. I remember them quite well when Minute Maid Park first opened. For some reason they always fade away. I wonder if it's just too darned hot and sweaty.
ricco67
It should be interesting to watch, but I think that they would be limited to Midtown on weekends as well as the Galleria. My only major concern is the power of the bikes to be able to compete with regular motorized traffic. if it catches on, perhaps there should be a "rickshaw" only lane in the galleria. Now that a think about it, it can be used for "scooters" as well as bicycles.
