Darth Darth Binks Posted July 22, 2007 Share Posted July 22, 2007 (edited) I know this is old news but... to my disappointment Houston PBS is showing the same programming on its HD channel (Comcast 308 formerly 100% HD) as KUHT 8 -- mostly regular resolution with a sprinkling of HD. According to their website, they will be adding HD shows to the feed. One of the things I liked is that they would repeat the same show several times a week, so I could always catch a show later on if I missed it. I doubt this will be the case in the future. Anyway, surely there was a good reason for the change.As a previous Dish TV subscriber (before moving to Houston and prior to HD coming into the scene), I recall they a national PBS channel in addition to the local PBS channel. I wonder if anyone who has Dish TV or Direct TV can tell me if they receive a national HD feed separate from the local feed. Thanks.
