METALHOUSTON
I'm one who has always had a lot of curiosity about Texas and/or Houston history and I was asking my Mother about Houston when she moved here. She told me she lived in some apartment complex on Kirby and Algerian Way where Bennigan's, Taco Cabana and all that is now - but she can't remember the name of the apartments so I figured I'd ask on here. Also she told me that MAI Thai used to be a gas station (you can still see where the pumps used to be) but can't remember the name of the it either.can anyone give me any more info on either of these and if anyone has any photos of this I'd appreciate checkin' 'em out.Thanx www.myspace.com/metalhouston

From looking at live.local, it looks like it's still there. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong apartments though.
