If you go back and re-read the comments on this page as juvenile innuendo, oh boy
Why would I have to go back? That's exactly how I read them the first time... and it was glorious!

I have beer in my profile pic. That is all.

It looks like 3 ottomans stacked on one another... but I like it well enough.

The same way birds poop...
That's how that hot steamer ended up on the middle of my hood when I was down town last week!

I live within walking distance to both beer gardens. I can't wait for this area to be renamed the BGD(Beer Garden District).
That would be truly glorious!

"There are just too many beer gardens around here" said no one ever! ;-)

Monarch if you talk in the same style as you post here I think it would be absolutely mesmerizing. Maybe you should try to get some voice over work that you write the dialogue yourself.
I can just hear Morgan Freeman saying "excellent illustration as per this magnificent edifice".

Dickeys is a chain, so humongous that I saw one in Vacaville, California last week.
I tried it. I was not poisoned. I also had no joy. It is a chain BBQ place that fits in perfectly in suburban hell.
Small world. I'll be in Vacaville in 3 weeks for a wedding. And no I won't be eating at the Dickey's.
Also the last time I was there my friends took me to a Mexican restaurant called Chevy's. I ordered Queso to start and they looked at me cross-eyed. Apparently they don't serve Queso there. I was appalled!

Am I the only one that hasn't heard of any of these stores before?
Nope and I have no interest since the concept of luxury means very little to me. But I do want to go check out this development just for the developments sake and food... always the food.

The most up to date satellite imagery I've found online is Nearmap. It shows the date of the current images in the corner. As of today it's August 1, 2015 for Houston. You can browse it without a subscription for a short period of time.

You can't polish a turd.
I take it you haven't watched much Mythbusters.
One can most definitely polish a turd.

This is and has been my favorite project going up in this city in the current cycle. Growing up near Chicago my idea of a ballpark and associated neighborhood will always be Wrigley and Wrigleyville in Chicago. It has such a great vibe, is pedestrian friendly, has a fantastic collection of old brick buildings that are used for pubs, restaurants, apartments, etc..., and almost no surface parking (everyone just rides the train to the games). The area around Minute Maid can never be the same but I feel like this project along with the many other projects going up around the park can lead to a modern version of a vibrant urban ball park neighborhood. I'm so glad this is turning out to look as great as I hoped it would.

i feel bad that she has clydesdale sydrome which i wonder if that is hereditary...i bet its hard to shop for shoes, speaking of which...the poor lady on the right wore bedazzled flip flops so you know there had to be all kinds of dirt and rocks between her toes People really need to dress appropriately for events, unless of course this was a surprise party of some kind...
edited to add that i truly feel for the middle lady who braved said event despite her feet being wrapped in some sort of orthopedic brace...

No it was definitely moving. It's actually a person and a large dog walking in tandem but it looks funny from afar!

Drone footage over Buffalo Bayou.
Did anyone else see a Minotaur at approximately 3:00? What the hell is that in the middle of the screen?

99 Cent Store, Big Lots, Burlington Coat Factory, Ross, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar/Dollar General, and for all your downtown grocery needs; Aldi!
Let uptown have all of the high end shopping.
The downtown "value" retail shopping district!
Come on, it'd be great!

I'm surprised to see so many power lines in the renderings. Don't they usually take them out? I like the look of the building though.

This must be over my head or somethiing because I have so many questions...
Who's Frank? Who's Blue? Who passed?
A KY wrestling match?
Or a KY wrestling match?
Or maybe they're the same thing?
I'm so confused but oddly intrigued...
