Folks, I have a confession--10 years ago this weekend, I participated in my city's Gay Pride Parade out of support--at first, I was enthusiastic to do this on behalf of my community college's LGBT group, but then, as I learned about the inhospitality, the disunity, as well as the politics inbetween, I chose to step away from it altogether. I strictly believe in 'live and let live', but as for either being pro- or anti- LGBT, I've decided to be neither...and leave this whole thing alone altoge...
