I have been halving one of my muscle relaxers for the past couple days to offset the not having any pain pills for my arthritis, I can tell when it kicks in because my entire body starts getting hot and sweating. I really don't think it does anything for the pain since it really isn't designed for pain, muscle relaxers do just that not kill pain.
