Thanks for the information! I didn't know of this book, but will certainly check it out. A friend of mind is doing something similar in Germany and I liked his idea so much that I thought I'd try it here. I am not surprised that is has been done before.

I am looking for material for a coffee table book about Houston architecture that I plan to publish in 2011. The idea is to solicit photos for the book that are creative works rather than descriptive images that simply show what Houston looks like. This book will show locals and visitors fresh and surprising perspectives on familiar landmarks. We will discover what our city looks like through the eyes of creative photographers. The goal is to make a unique photography book for which the unifying theme is that all photos show a structure or building in the greater Houston area. If this sounds like fun to you, perhaps you would consider submitting some of your work. Participation is fee. About 50 images will be selected for the book. More details here. Thank you! Martin
