  1. Dry Creek (chicken tender salad every time) Dragon Bowl Antidote (2x/week) Jenni's (other locations at least 2x/month) Crickets (coffee and gelato, great vegetarian food) Shade (go-to spot for lunch meetings) Cool thread, thanks for starting it. Is nice to be reminded of places one might not remember otherwise.
  2. We are beyond happy that y'all are coming to the neighborhood. Art Car Curry in walking distance!! My kid could live on the dumplings. Booths or tables and chairs? --- both. we like the arrangement of the Post Oak location, many different options there. Counter service or full service? --- either is fine Should we close at 10pm or 9pm? --- no opinion, don't forget that a lot of families like to eat a bit early, on the way home from whatever ~6ish Will the neighborhood walk or ride their bike? --- yes! How many bikes should the bike rack hold? --- multiple guests at once, maybe 5 bikes, just a guess Patio out front under the awning or in the back with a big grassy play area? --- where ever works, but nobody likes to feel like they are eating in a parking lot, plants and fences help with this. Coke or pepsi? --- coke! Access to water for dogs outside and free dog bones? Y or N --- no Your questions were cross-posted to a big neighborhood parents' list. Is there an email address where people can send answers if they are not reg on haif?
  3. Intersections! We rode along the trail this weekend from 23rd to the RR bridge. There are a few spots that really need some pedestrian signals---at 11th street and at Yale in particular. I had my 7-year-old in tow, and these are tough crossings when your pedal cranks are that short! Does anyone know if anything is planned for the major intersections? I'd be interested to know which district H candidates would support livability issues like these (feel free not to reply to this as I don't want this to get political). I used to live in Oregon, and there were special signals that only turned if a pedestrian hit the button. So they didn't upset traffic unless there really was a person wanting to get across the street. This seems like a great solution. Thanks Waiting to Cross
