I spent all day making New Years Black Eyed Peas, as Southern tradition dictates. I did not use a recipe so I didn't know what I was doing. They turned out really bad. Inedible in fact. Does that mean my 2012 is ruined from the start??

I don't care how badly I'm dehydrated and need electrolytes due to my "gastroenteritis", Powerade is GROSS! Can't I just drink Coke Zero??
