To be built at Pearsall Rd and 410 on the southwest side of San Antonio. Plans call for nearly 500,000 square feet of retail in 130-140 stores as well as restaurant space and a hotel. Will have an open-air design.
Grand Opening scheduled for Spring 2009.

Description of Project
Phase II of the development is a 34-acre parcel expansion of Phase I of The Shops at La Cantera Regional Center, which includes approximately 300,000 SF of space in an open-air lifestyle center located across the ring road and to the east of Phase I, just opposite the existing food hall and Kona Grill restaurant.

For those who may or may not know, the San Antonio River is going through a 13 mile extension. 4 miles to the north and 9 miles to the south. The 4 miles north will be idential to the Riverwalk portion downtown, i.e. urban. The 9 miles to the south will be more park like. In the end this will give San Antonio a 13-mile linear park. This project will also help to completely change downtown as well as the sheer quality of life for San Antonians.
