    What does the sign have to do with a proposed hotel? The sign is about residential, retail etc, that's not a hotel. Is this hotel project still breaking ground, does anyone actually know?

    I went to see this today again and actually I think the bridge is not finished yet, there are brackets along the top of the railing on both sides that look like something is still to be added...and the bridge is closed off again... The rest of the work around the bridge is great.....new station, buildings, trees, landscaping around lake etc are all super...!

    What, I thought this was just a "test" bridge when i first saw it. Sorry, i truly love Hermann Park and the Conservation Society and all they do, but to me this looks not so great for a million bucks? If this is the much vaunted "Tiffany Bridge" then sorry its a SIGH from me... I thought it would be much more pretty, ornate and grand looking, not some steel thing that looks like something like the Core of Engineers would fling up in a logistical flooding emergency. Where is the "arched" design in the bridge as above in first post??? Or maybe I'm just not looking at it right????! I hate to criticise when its better than nothing, I just think the Park deserves more. Someone please tell me I'm wrong and this thing looks awesome. Confused

    Not sure about your other comments but think you will find plenty that argue with "bad location" for Mosaic. au contraire: The point is how many places in Houston can you walk outside and quite literally stroll out into a proper park? And god willing that park is not going anywhere.. And yes I know the golf course is there kinda before the park but there are beautiful, stunning (still standing after ike) oak tree lined paths through the golf course and a golf course literally is a "park".....and from the entrance to Mosaic you are 20 seconds walking from total park relaxation. Knowing you can do that every evening after a hard days work or whatever could be attractive to many people I think. You wanna stroll around the Galleria for some nature?? I'll take my chances and drive over there once a month If everywhere we could live was 20 seconds from a beautiful, well funded, City Park that is going no where, my arguement would be nullified a little but they are not. And that uniqueness I think helps Mosaic big time....

    Well, there is large amount of wood in the area, that's for sure.... Pretty sure its on OST - near to the new restaurant that is about to open. Doe anyone know??

    Anyone know what is going up on OST, just west of 288, and just north and a bit west of the Yellowstone Urban Loft Townhouses? Its a relatively small piece of land...Drove by the other day and it caught my eye.... Looks like apartments or offices? Could even be more townhouses? That area certainly seems to be developing....Proximity to TMC no doubt a factor, although it seems the area could benefit from some more retail outlets etc
