  17. has anyone looked at houston from say out on the northern edge of the beltway? if you look towards the galleria area you would be hard pressed to distinguish it from a modern downtown area. it has skyscrapers and all.
  18. so they're in the trees too? i've heard them up high. seems kinda like they do a call and response too?
  19. yes, that is the sound alright ... and that is the pattern of the calls and response. sometimes it even seems to be coming from the air ... in several different directions. let me know when you find out ... i still find the frogs theory to be kinda weak, but several people here swear it's frogs. let me know what you find out.
  20. ok, i will admit that these sounds do sound eerily similar. the thing is that they tend to come from the trees AND the air --could just be acoustics and bad lighting though.
  21. well, so far, we are SURE it's either: 1. some sort of tree frogs 2. chickadees (spelling?) 3. alien life i think i am leaning towards #3 since i SEE NO SIGN of the first two in my neighborhood.
  22. and i am still not convinced they are frogs. i am liking the weird alien species theory more and more. ...it seems to be spreading...
  23. gotcha. thanks. is there any sort of observation deck in heritage? i would think the views of the bayou and towards west houston (especially at sunset) would be awesome.
