yes, this is definitely true. The Hwy 6 location told me about it back in May when we ordered fajitas from there for graduation party. They are DEFINITELY THE BEST and we can't wait for their new location over here!!

I have lived in Bear Creek for the past 18 years. I am looking to move out further west since my children are grown now. I have a 4 bdrm 2 1/2 bath one story (2300 sq ft). I would say the house is in good condition inside and out. Corner lot, so lots of front and side yard. Includes 2 yr old a/c and heat. How can I find out what a reasonable starting price would be? We had moved here bc it was close to where dh worked at the time and we really liked the Katy schools. We will be "downsizing" since it will be just the two of us. Thanks for any info.

Anyone build a Lennar home and care to share your experience?

which model did you choose? And what did you upgrade? We will have to prob. upgrade carpet, will need wood in the master (I can't have carpet due to severe asthma and allergies), and would prefer an all brick exterior. Looked yesterday at the model we want out off 59 S. and it re-afirmed the choice in my mind! I LOVE that house! We had a new house once, years ago, and ended up not being what we wanted. Now that we are older and "wiser" we have a much better idea of features, etc... that we want. Was crown molding an upgrade? It would be nice, but not necessary. Thanks for the info.

we also are looking into moving out to the Katy area. Have been looking at Lennar and Meritage home builders. Any comments (good or bad) on either of these? No BBB info that I could find. Probably either in the Grayson Lakes area, or Cinco/Seven Meadows areas. Is the quality of these builders pretty much the "standard" now? One thing we noticed w/ all the homes we have looked at is that no one has real wood cabinets (it must be an expensive "custom" feature now-even though my 30 yr old house has solid wood cupboards). Any info appreciated!
