It's true that Addicks ISD was split among other school districts in the early 1960s. However, the building currently named Wolfe Elementary was built in the late 1960s and was called Addicks Elementary until Maurice Wolfe retired as principal of the school. After his retirement, the school's name was changed to Maurice Wolfe Elementary. I was working for KISD at the time, so it would have been after 1982, but I don't remember what year the name change actually took place. Eag
