Back in the early 50's in Houston, there was a live, local kids TV show and the host was interviewing a little boy. He asked the boy if he wanted to say "Hello," to anyone. The boy said, "Yeah, Herbie, this one is for you!" and he shot the finger right at the camera. For the last 70+ years, "Herbie, this one is for you," has been a catchphrase around all of us who remember that day. I'm sure that the show and the exact setup are long gone from our memories, but not what he said or did. Does anyone out there have the details??
