Hi, everyone! I'm so glad that I found this forum - so much valueable information, especially for people like us who moved from out of town. We've been renting for about a year and are now getting close to buy a home. We saw a town home that we like - it's located in the Rice Military area and about to be completed in a month or so. The question we have now is if we decide to buy this home whether we should hire a real estate agent to deal with the builder, for example, to negotiate on the purchase price, to ask for a different color of paint (the walls are not painted yet). We asked some friends and they gave conflicting advice. Any suggestions you can give here are much appreciated.
