My mistake. Must have glossed over it when I was double checking haha.

I found it! It was the TinselTown 24 at Westpark and Beltway 8, opening in 1997 and closing in 2008 (January of both years, I believe). Looking back at old HAIF posts, the theater was physically run-down and very "ghetto" by the the late 2000s. And I now how quickly these sorts of entertainment venues can get run down.
The last (and only time) I went to that theater I was mad that they did not care I was underage and wanted to see an R rated movie but that they were going to charge me adult prices and not give me the student discount. I always liked the "new" AMC Studio 30 on Dunvale. It was much nicer than the Meyer Park 14 and had stadium seating.

. By the way I have a set of plans for Enron Stadium. They are cumbersome and I really don't know what to do with them.
Anyone have any ideas?
You can use the plans for confetti when the Astros finally win the World Series!

UH fan here, went to a couple of road games against Tulane when were with them in CUSA...the atmosphere at the dome was depressing....there were always more coog fans than Tulane fans...i'm sure that your new on campus stadium is going to increase the gameday atmosphere at Tulane football games
When I lived in NOLA the best thing about Tulane playing in the Dome were the great first row seats at the 50 yard line when Case and the Coogs came to town!

AAC- looks great on the outside. Mall on the inside. The upper concourse is small and the sighlines are terrible.
TC- Escalotrs are neat to ride up inside the main entrance. On the upper concourse you can see the court from 90% of it.
ATT Center- Sight lines from the uppe concourse are worse than in Dallas. Paint and color schemes are terrible.
Cowboys Stadium- Looks amazing and is fun to attend a game at. Only did SRO, so was far away from the seats but could watch the game from the side of the giant scoreboard.
Reliant- Roof is great and first of its kind. Rest is bland but you can tell they spent most of the money on the roof and skimped on the rest. Good sight lines in all parts of the seating bowl.
Alamodome-Small scoreboards and decent sight lines. Not a great place to watch a football or basketball game.
Superdome-Cool, old stadium. Even with all of the rehab done after Katrina the sight lines are still terrible in some sections and not worth the cost of the ticket. No room around the stadium for tailgating. Small areas under the freeway interchanges and in parking garages. Champions Square is fun to go to before the games.

I just went to the zoo today for the first time in two years. Pretty good crowds all over the park doing all sorts of things. Parking was not a problem. Under a ten minute walk from the car to the zoo entrance.

I don't want to lose Tal's Hill either. I know that most people don't like it but I thought it was the best part of the park.

I was at the Astros game last night and noticed some new structures built along the outfield lights where I think the Citgo sign used to be. Does anyone know if this is going to be more space for ads? If ads are placed here It will block some of the views of downtown and a couple of the pennants along the outfield wall.
