Most ponds in subdivisions are detention ponds, not retention ponds. The difference being that detention ponds release undeveloped flow and retention ponds do not release any flow. hth

I'm curious as to what you are looking at. If you are looking at this, http://bl.vismark.us/DTS/lots/eplats/index_base.asp , from the Bridgeland website, there doesn't appear to be a larger lake coming anytime soon.
-
Ah, yes. It will be called The Cove. There will also be an elementary school site just a little further down NBLP.
-
That's it

Black Horse Structure Off Highway 290 Is A Goner
aggie0083 replied to wakester's topic in The Great Northwest
It's a rice dryer. -
Typically a MUD has a Operator Company for their facilities in the same way.
-
So one way or another, you're still paying for the typical MUD services. It's just packaged in the HOA bill.
-
So who is paying for operation and maintenance of said facilities?
-
Yeah, about a mile past Telge and a mile before Barker Cypress.

Also, eventually Cypress-North Houston will connect all the way to Fry (by Cypress Ranch High School) where it turns into North Bridgeland Lake Parkway which will connect to the Grand Parkway. In the other direction it runs roughly parallel to 1960 until it hits Jones road.

Can you show an example of this? -
I wonder if they'll ever put an overpass at 290 and Cypress-North Houston Road. That seems like a good location for one.
-
Schools out. That takes a lot of cars off the road.

There was actually a proposed route for the Aggie Expressway? I never knew it even got to that stage
-
Maybe just a branch of an existing university. Like a "University of Houston - Cypress"
-
Read about it in this morning's Cy-Fair section of the paper. Kind of interesting to look at: http://westhouston.org/WHP%202050%206-14-07%20Final.pdf

Texas A&M University College Station Developments

Yeah, it looks better in the close up renderings than in the far away renderings. Of course, they are all just renderings, so I'll save my judgment until I see the real thing completed next year. -

True. PV needs to do some marketing to sell the school better. -

That's actually a different building that the thread got on a tangent to. But, of course the building shown will be the largest on campus only to be triumphed by this $100 million engineering building a few years after.
