So we made an offer on a house... in Oak Forest. Just a block north of 43rd to the east of Rosslyn. As far as the inspections... so far so good. Still need the hydrostatic testing though. Any thoughts as far as the underground plumbing is concerned? Did you have the hydrostatic testing done? If all goes well it looks like we will be closing in July. Thanks for the comments.

We are looking at some homes in the Oak Forest area, one specifically just east of Rosslyn. What are your thoughts on the neighborhood? Any words of wisdom or encouragment? We are first time home buyers.
