ech, I'm sick of waiting; let's make our own damn temporary Pavilions, and hold a groundbreaking ceremony, as well. Bring some tents, liquor, a guitar, a shovel, and some chairs, and we'll be set. Hopefully, we can have our own groundbreaking before the police arrive.
don't forget the laptops so that we can still HAIF it out

So when are we going to get together, get drunk and do a little ceremonialground breaking on the site?
Just one car space should do before we have to run out.

^^there are still plenty of parking lots surrounding the area, or do you mean adding them like the original plan had them?

600grand seems a wee bit too much for 2 new soccer fields......and most of us hispanic kids have been Americanized, we have finally discovered that soccer is "teh suck" basketball and football are much more fun to play

Actually, I thought of that name because of Hilton Americas.
I seriously doubt it. We already have George Bush Intercontinental. We need to trim our Bush a little bit...no pun intended
Here's a few others...

-Johnson Park (named after Lyndon B Johnson)
-Swisha Park (for all you thugs out there)
-The Park built by the White man (named after mayor Bill White )
-okay fine, Black Park (named after Clint Black)
-Nelson Park (named after Willie Nelson. Imagine the cloud of smoke there if that happened:) )
-Zindler Park (EYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEWITNESS NEWS)
-Rather Park (after Dan)
-Benson Memorium Park (after Lloyd Benson)
-Destiny's Park
-The Parks (If we got the Parks Shops already, why not?!)

too bad there is already a Selena park in Denver Harbor...and i don't think that the whites, blacks, and asians of this city would be comfortable for a park named after a Tejano Star who was raised in Corpus..
