  1. http://www.gallup.com/poll/109102/Gallup-D...-McCain-40.aspx Gallup Daily: Obama 49%, McCain 40% This wasn't true. Which was made up made up by the right wingers. In Iraq, Obama visited wounded troops without the media. They wouldn't let him do it in Germany since he was not with the Senators (Congregational Delegation), like he was in Iraq. roffles This has been proved wrong already. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/afghanistan.asp The email was not accurate at all. Here is his followup: And more to really end it: Army Officials Refute Claim of Barack Obama Snub in Afghanistan By James Gordon Meek DAILY NEWS WASHINGTON BUREAU Updated Friday, July 25th 2008, 10:05 AM WASHINGTON - The latest chain e-mail smear against Barack Obama: He "blew off" troops at an Afghan base to shoot hoops for a publicity photo. The letter was apparently written by a Utah Army National Guard intelligence officer in a linguist unit at Bagram Airfield who claimed the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee was rude to G.I.s. "As the soldiers where [sic] lined up to shake his hand he blew them off," wrote the Task Force Wasatch "battle captain." But angry Army brass debunked the Obama-bashing soldier's allegations, which went viral Thursday over the Web and on military blogs such as Blackfive. The e-mail claims Obama repeatedly shunned soldiers on his way to the Clamshell - a recreation tent - to "take his publicity pictures playing basketball." "These comments are inappropriate and factually incorrect," said Bagram spokeswoman Army Lt. Col. Rumi Nielson-Green, who added that such political commentary is barred for uniformed personnel. Obama didn't play basketball at Bagram or visit the Clamshell, she said. Home-state troops were invited to meet him, but his arrival was kept secret for security reasons. "We were a bit delayed ... as he took time to shake hands, speak to troops and pose for photographs," Nielson-Green said. E-mails to the officer who made the charges and a call to his wife were not returned. ~~~~ More and link: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2..._barack_ob.html
  2. McCain's New Attack Ad In the new attack ad by the McCain campaign, the footage they use of Obama in the gym (claiming he didn't visit the troops) is actually the video of Obama visiting the troops in Kuwait. They blur out the troops. Prove Obama won't visit the troops by showing video... ... of Obama visiting the troops. Another Epic Fail for the McCain team. I'm out.
  3. Man, talk about flip-flopping: McCain: '16 months a good timetable' roffles Also, thought you all might find this interesting:

  5. If it helps, I use to go off WIC when I was little, and when Hurricane Katrina and Rita hit and we housed some relatives from New Orleans, we got a lot of free food from their WICs. A good example of someone trying to get out of food stamps is my cousin in Lake Charles. She has two kids (five and two), but only has a high school diploma. She works her ass off, but can never afford to get off the WIC plans. The guy she had the two kids with is in jail for stabbing someone 20 times in Louisiana, so it's not like he can help. I still haven't watched the entire Black in America, but I will have to. See how many sides of the story CNN did.
  6. roffles. If anything, McCain's campaign right now is reminiscent of John Kerry's campaign back in 2004.
  7. Israeli paper publishes Obama's wall note http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/070...te.html?showall How sad. Nothing is private these days.

To tell you the truth, I don't remember much. I was too young.

Oh no, it did suck. I was a member of HAIF back then, under a different name. I was 12 and pretended to be like 20. My age and everything was off.

  11. I kind of knew, but didn't. Your posts as urbanactivistTX are a lot different than totheskies. I couldn't tell at first.

HAIF sounded like it sucked back then.
  13. Just close this one, or let it die. No one posted in it for almost a year. It's just too confusing now. Besides, the other one has already been established and is just...better.
  14. I was thinking the same thing. They need to erase the Tierwester Station, and move it up to a share station with the Southeast Line. We'll see what they do.
  15. This song is a good summing up of the single-family homes AND rap music (just for you Bryan, just for you). Whoever made the video is retarded. They put The Sims on it, but it's the only one I can find. Just don't look at it. Andre 3000 (from OutKast) - "She's Alive"
  16. You posted the same thing twice. Spam?
  17. I feel the same about that loud ass rock music.
  18. Radio rap=pure crap. Trae's rap on his iPod=pure gold. But yeah, rap does not define me, or anyone else I know. Some try though. Especially with Lil' Wayne and his garbage. They keep reciting his verses and stuff. Very annoying.
  19. k. Has absolutely nothing to do with Obama at all, but I know what you're trying to do. You haven't even responded to my first post yet.
