If it helps, I use to go off WIC when I was little, and when Hurricane Katrina and Rita hit and we housed some relatives from New Orleans, we got a lot of free food from their WICs. A good example of someone trying to get out of food stamps is my cousin in Lake Charles. She has two kids (five and two), but only has a high school diploma.
