Looking forward to Halo 3. I already have it preordered a local game stop. Actually a new 360 owner and been playin it almost every day. I am a long time gamer and was a little recultant to pick one up until recently. Not sure what i was thinking..

Hey guys, Stumbed across this thread from google. I also live in Houston and was researching this condition i have in my lawn. White patches in various spots. It looks like white powder over the blades of the grass and if I use my foot to move the grass around in that area, the white patches turns into a black powder and disappears. Do you guys know if this is fungus or a bug?

Sounds like you need a good exercise regime. Nothing puts me to sleep faster than a good run or good workout. Exercise does the body good in both mental and physical health.

I suggest downloading and installing PDF Creator. Its software that acts like a printer. The only output though is pdf files. Any type of document you throw at it such as xls, doc, etc will be converted to a saveable pdf file. here is the link. http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/

My wife and I are of different races and never once received any strange looks. Everyone of my friends is from a different culture or region of the world, and all of them have either girlfriends or wives that are from a different race and/or culture.

I certainly have been in a slow phase now for months. This is the first company I've work at that is highly successfull in its industry and have nothing to do. I moved positions in my department and if it wasn’t for the Internet, I don’t know what I would do with my time. I do have responsibilities, but that takes all but 1 hour of my day. Beyond that I have become a surf master. Luckily, my desk is positioned in such a way that my monitor is off limits to roving eyes. But, I spend most my day working on a business that I plan on opening soon so I am not complaining!

Funny this thread pops up. In the past month, I've made three trips down to the island. Twice for a part in a wedding down there, and the third for a little fun in the sun. I have spent nearly my entire life in Houston, and use to go to Galveston fairly often when I was kid (thanks to my parents). When I became older(20's), I never thought about going down there even though its just an hour drive. Now, that I am in my 30's my wife and I are looking for places to hang out during our weekends (outside the city), and now I enjoy going down to the island. Its different, I like the water, and enjoy the atmosphere. I think its a place you either hate or you love. I know I will be spending my weekends down there for day trips and just hanging out on the beach.

Oh man, I just had to jump in this conversation. I can remember when stations would turn off and you would have that dang rainbow color bars across the screen with a loud noise. Usually meant it was time for bed. Now, I wish some stations would turn off and never come back.
